Albers is accredited by AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. As of July 2014, less than five percent of the world’s business schools and less than one third of U.S. business schools have achieved business accreditation from AACSB.
Christina Tapia has taught graduate and undergraduate economics at the
Seattle University Albers School of Business since 2007. Dr. Tapia has also
taught economics at the University of Washington Foster School of Business in
the MBA and Executive MBA programs.
In addition to teaching, Dr. Tapia
is an economist at Nickerson & Associates, L.L.C., an economic consulting
firm specializing in applying economics and statistics to business and public
policy issues, often involving analyses in the context of litigation. Christina
specializes in employment, wage and hour, and labor cases. Additional research
and consulting experience includes issues in the fields of compensation
systems and incentives, real estate, and patent litigation.
is also a member of the Visiting Committee in the Department of Economics at
the University of Washington, a board member of the Seattle Economics Council,
and a member of the American Economic Association and the National Association
of Forensic Economists.
