Albers is accredited by AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. As of July 2014, less than five percent of the world’s business schools and less than one third of U.S. business schools have achieved business accreditation from AACSB.
Nadeje is a mission-driven professional with over 20 years of experience in education. With a passion for student development and advising, her contributions to the personal and professional development of the student have consistently proven to ensure their success.
Nadeje has held teaching and administrative positions in various educational settings. Her teaching positions have included literature, English as a Second Language, and French to diverse populations. She has traveled extensively, including living and working in Cairo, Egypt where she trained language instructors. Her teaching and administrative assignments abroad have helped develop strong global and cultural awareness.
She volunteers for various community affiliations and is a member of the World Affairs Council, the Graduate Business Student Services Association (GBSSA), and the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA). She is a member of Alpha Sigma Nu, the honor society of Jesuit institutions of higher education that recognizes students, faculty and staff who distinguish themselves in scholarship, loyalty and service.
Nadeje’s research explores communication effectiveness among student affairs professionals in higher education through the lenses of framing, listening and emotional management. Nadeje earned her Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) from Seattle University’s College of Education in 2014.
With more than 15 years’ higher education experience, Lorri holds a strong belief that education changes lives. Her current position as programs manager in Seattle University’s Center for Leadership Formation department is one of her favorites, as it directly connects her with students and lets her see firsthand the transformative effects the program has on those who attend.
Lorri’s professional background includes website management, marketing, and public relations. She has worked at the University of Washington, Lake Washington Technical College, and Seattle Pacific University. She also has held management positions for many years in both the public and private sectors.
Lorri has lived in the Pacific Northwest for more than 30 years. She loves to sail, hike, and ski and spend time with her husband and animals. She enjoys traveling, but is always glad to come home to Seattle.
Megan Spaulding has worked in higher education and college student development for nine years. She served as a leadership educator in the Leadership Development Office at the University of Missouri during her master's degree. She was an academic advisor for the College of Business at the University of Missouri for two years before coming to Seattle University to serve in her current role as Manager of Experiential Programs with the Albers Placement Center.
