David Kinard is an award-winning senior marketer offering significant career experience in non profit and cause-related marketing, healthcare marketing, strategic planning, on/offline communications, and community development. David is recognized for creative contributions and thought leadership by national and international media and is a regular MBA faculty and conference/keynote speaker. He also received official recognition by Washington Governor Gary Locke for contributions to developing Marketing Skills Standards Education program for Washington State schools. For eight years he has hosted Marketing News Radio - a weekly talk show featuring authors and business leaders across the country -- which has now transformed into the MarketingPower Podcast Series produced by the American Marketing Association. David holds the Professional Marketer Credential, is a past-president of the Puget Sound American Marketing Association, and currently works as Associate Vice President of Marketing & Communications at Physicians Insurance, a 30-year old mutual company that provides medical professional liability insurance coverage to more than 6,700 members in Washington, Idaho, and Oregon, in addition to risk-management consulting, continuing medical education, and claims administration services.
