  • Talley Violin Recital Set for January 12

    Music Professor Marcus Talley, violinist, presents works by Mozart, Beethoven, and Prokofiev in his faculty recital on January 12, 2013.

    Talley holds a Doctorate of Musical Arts in violin performance from Michigan State University. In addition to his teaching, Talley performs with the Bellevue Philharmonic and is a violin coach and coach coordinator for the Everett Youth Symphony Orchestras. This is his second year teaching at Seattle University.

    The recital begins at 7:30 p.m. on January 12 in Pigott Auditorium. Tickets at $5 for students; $8 faculty/staff, and $12 general admission are available at the door.

    The College of Arts and Sciences, the largest college in Seattle University, offers 42 undergraduate majors, 37 minors, and 7 advanced degrees, including a B.M. in String Performance and an MFA in Arts Leadership.
