The Seattle University Students for Free Enterprise (SIFE) team will be attending the SIFE National Championships in early May in Philadelphia. SIFE is an international organization that teach business and ethics to college students. Members contribute their talents to projects that improve the lives of people worldwide. The SU SIFE team recently participated in the Northwest regional competition in March. Teams from around the NW (California, Oregon, Montana, Alaska and Washington) competed at the event where the SU team won both the best rookie team and regional champion. SU has 17 active SIFE members from all over campus who are mentored by James Forsher, Associate Professor, Communication Department, College of Arts and Sciences, and Leo Simpson, Professor, Management Department, Albers School of Business and Economics.
