  • ROTC Weekend Exercise at Fort Lewis

    Seattle University junior ROTC cadet Will Sheridan carries junior cadet Rich Coulter off a simulated battlefield April 28 while acting out a medical evacuation during a weekend exercise at Fort Lewis, Wash. The cadets trained in navigation and patrolling in situations designed to mentally and physically challenge them. Each cadet got to ride in a Stryker vehicle as well as fly home in a CH-47 Chinook helicopter.

A main thrust of the exercise is to prepare junior cadets for the Leader Development Assessment Course (LDAC) they are required to take in the summer.
