Award winning author of War on Error: Real Stories of American Muslims, activist and attorney Melody Moezzi will visit Seattle University on Monday April 12, to host a presentation covering a wide range of topics concerning Islam and the Middle East from her perspective as a female Middle Eastern activist.
Moezzi's visit is a valuable opportunity for students, faculty and community members to engage in the critical issues relating to Islam in America, her come country Iran, diversity, law and human rights.
A graduate of Wesleyan University and the Emory University School of Law, Melody Moezzi has worked with the Department of Homeland Security, reporting to the U.S. Congressional Commission on International Religious Freedom.
Her presentation is open to all students, staff, faculty and the wider community, and will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday April 12, in the Pigott Auditorium.
