The Fine Arts Department welcomes Dr. Karl Paulnack, master pianist, to campus September 22 -23. Paulnack, who is the director of the Music Division at The Boston Conservatory, will keynote and perform at the Music Convocation. He will also present a master class on the “Art of Collaborating” with string, voice and piano students on September 23. Paulnack has partnered vocal and instrumental soloists, chamber groups, orchestras, conductors and opera companies in nearly a thousand concerts throughout North America, Bulgaria, Estonia, France, Macedonia, Norway, Romania and Russia. The College of Arts and Sciences, the largest college in Seattle University, offers 33 undergraduate degrees, including degrees in music and string performance. The College also offers 7 advanced degrees, including an MFA in Arts Leadership.
