Go WISE is sponsoring a statewide transition conference to be held in Vancouver, WA on May 2, 2014 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. This event is for educators, employment providers, VR counselors, DD case managers, and others supporting students with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their transition from school to work.
Microsoft has launched a new scholarship for high school seniors with disabilities who require financial assistance to attend a vocational or academic college program. Applicants must demonstrate a passion for technology and declare a major in engineering, computer science, law or business. Deadline is March 15.
