RESTRICTIONS ON HOUSING

Conference and Event Services is able to support/rent space to off campus programs that are operated by non-profit organizations or Washington State or local government agencies. Because of Washington State regulations, private colleges and universities could lose property tax exemptions if the guidelines are not followed.

New regulations are forthcoming, however, so if your program is a non-profit (but not 501(c)(3)) or if you are a for-profit entity looking to host an educational program that is not for your company's monetary gain, please feel free to fill out a request or contact us to discuss this further.  Our contact information is below.

In addition, Seattle University cannot offer accommodations to individuals that are not affiliated with a conference. We are able only to offer contracts to organizations making arrangements for housing, food, and meeting space.
