Choices and Services
Choosing to stay on campus during the summer is a great option. Guests live in comfortable, reasonably priced suites, apartments or residence halls that are a short walk to meeting rooms and food service. Living on campus provides opportunities to meet and exchange ideas with other conference participants in informal settings in addition to formal programs.
Seattle University has a wide variety of on campus accommodations. Available in the summer months only, we provide choices from simple to indulgent amenities, and options for all budgets.
No matter what your choices, the following services are available to overnight guests:
- Parking on campus
- High-speed internet access (connect to our wireless network on campus or through Ethernet, or use one of our computers in our in-building labs)
- Concierge services at our desks; our staff will research routes, print maps, and give you all kinds of resources and information upon request
Each residence also offers amenities to our guests:
- Lounges on all floors
- Laundry facilities
- Vending machines
- Business center for copies and printing
- Big-screen TV and DVD player
The guest services desk is open from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. daily, or for extended hours upon request. Even when the desk is not open, however, guests may still check in and out at any time with our on call personnel.
Residence Hall Security
Each guest staying in the residence hall is issued a personalized key packet upon check in. The packet includes a room key, Conference Card, and a meal plan information sheet (if applicable). The Conference Card provides 24-hour access to the guest's residence hall and elevators. After the desk closes at
11:00 p.m., Public Safety officers patrol the residence halls and are available to answer questions, escort guests on campus after dark, and respond to emergencies.
