Application for Graduate Admission with non-refundable $55 application fee.(Application fee waived for SU alumni.)
Four-year equivalent bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university
Minimum GPA of 3.00 calculated from transcripts of all post-secondary educational institutions attended in the last 90 quarter/60 semester credits of the bachelor’s degree, including transfer credit earned during this time, and any post-baccalaureate course work. Applicants with less than a 3.00 GPA may apply, but are required to submit official scores from the GRE or the MAT by the application deadline.
Résumé reflecting at least one year’s successful relevant work experience
Two recommendations from supervisors within past five years using College of Education Recommendation forms
Interview with the program director with an on-site writing sample
Master’s degree from accredited institution, college or university.

Two letters of recommendation from supervisors within the past five years
Minimum of 3.25 GPA in post-baccalaureate studies. Students may be accepted conditionally if GPA is between 3.00 and 3.25 and they receive strong endorsement from their supervisory administrators, submit a GRE or MAT score
Interview with the program director with an on-site writing sample.

An application packet may be obtained from the Graduate Admissions office. Applications are accepted each quarter.
Deadlines for receipt of application materials:
Fall Quarter– August 20
Winter Quarter– November 20
Spring Quarter– February 20
Summer Quarter– May 20
Request official transcripts from every college or university sent directly to Seattle University or to the applicant in sealed envelopes. Do not break the seal!
Complete application and supporting documents and send them, with the application fee, in one large envelope, to the Graduate Admissions office.
GRE or MAT scores, if applicable, must be sent directly from the test scoring agency to the Graduate Admissions office.
