There are four ways to attain certification
Students can earn a Master's of Education (MEd) or Master of Arts in Education (MAEd) and meet the requirements for principal or program administrator credentials.
Applicants with a master's degree in education review their coursework with the program director to develop a program of study with the courses necessary for certification. Range of credits required: 15-44.
Applicants with a master's degree can earn the EdS with 45 credits including coursework needed to qualify for state certification as a principal or program administrator.
Applicants with a master's degree can earn a doctorate and qualfy for certification as a principal or program administrator by enrolling in the Educational Leadership Program.
