All students must complete an internship experience in sites selected cooperatively by the student and major advisor. Students seeking certification as principals, whether in public or in independent schools, must take three one-credit practica (EDAD 544, 545, & 546) and three two-credit internships (EDAD 564, 565, & 566). Students also enroll in a seminar along with their internship designed to bridge theory and practice. As part of our commitment to social justice, students conduct service learning projects in schools during their internship.
