Scheduled to open in September 2010, Seattle University's Lemieux Library and Learning Commons is heading into the homestretch. On Aug. 7, Project Manager Steve De Bruhl led The Commons through the largest project in SU history. Here are some of the scenes from inside.

Seattle University celebrated the Feast of St. Ignatius on Friday, July 30, 2010. Faculty and staff were invited to the Arrupe Jesuit Residence for a breakfast as well as a mass in the Chapel of St. Ignatius. At the breakfast, Rector Pat Howell, S.J., spoke a bit about SU's Jesuit community and the feast named for the founder of the Jesuits.

The largest project in Seattle University history, the Lemieux Library and McGoldrick Learning Commons is scheduled to open in fall 2010. Three months before construction was completed, The Commons took a tour of the buildings. Here's a glimpse of what they looked like at that time.

In April 2010, SU President Stephen Sundborg, S.J., attended a meeting in Mexico City at which the presidents from all Jesuit institutions worldwide were represented. In this clip, Father Sundborg talks about the group he facilitated at the conference and what he took away from the overall experience.
