Seattle University
Human Resources Policy Manual

This Seattle University (the University) HR Policy Manual (Manual) is published as a reference for all non-faculty employees (and for faculty in areas indicated by the asterisk), and describes the University's general personnel policies. This Manual supersedes and replaces in all respects all previous human resources or personnel policies and procedures manuals issued by the University.

The on-line version of the HR Policy Manual is the official version, and all policy changes become effective when incorporated into this on-line version. If you wish to print this manual, in all or in part, beware those sections you print will represent University policy as of the date of printing. Using the quicklink, drop-down menu at the top of this webpage, you have the option to print the Policy Manual in its entirety or section by section.

[Please Note: In this manual, the use of he/she, him/her, or his/hers is gender neutral and includes both sexes.]
