Learning Communities

Across the Academy

  • How do I know what I know? Why does it matter? Where do my passions and academic interests connect? Explore the great questions of the human experience (“Why is there war?” “Whose fault is climate change?” “What is sexuality?”) through the lenses of different academic methods of inquiry. This community will appeal to any students who are interested in seeing connections between the disciplines (humanities, sciences, and social sciences), but may be of particular interest to students who are Premajor, intending to double major, or to enter fields such as Liberal Studies.
