The Ignatian Silent Retreat is a three-day experience which provides prayer, reflection, individual spiritual direction and time for rest. Jesuit-educated alumni join faculty and staff of Seattle University for the weekend. This retreat is open to persons of all faith backgrounds and walks of life.
Each spring, a day of reflection is held in the Chapel of St. Ignatius providing an opportunity for retreat and renewal for Jesuit-educated alumni and friends. Themes vary each year, and seasoned directors design the day with time for quiet prayer, presentations, small group conversation, and a liturgy. The chapel serves as the space in which the retreat is held.
The Young Alumni Retreat is a three-day retreat for Jesuit-educated alumni in their 20's and 30's who are seeking a way to reflect on their current life circumstances while grounding them in a sense of faith. This Ignatian-style retreat includes facilitation by retreat directors, creative exercises, small-group sharing, and plenty of free time. This retreat is open to persons of all faith backgrounds and walks of life.
