Nearly 450 students filled Pigott Hall last Thursday, to hear Dr. Kenneth Miller speak on science versus religion. An expert and author on the topic, Miller made a case that Christianity isn’t against the belief of science. But Miller, a Roman Catholic does not believe religion and science should both be taught in schools. Peter Ely, S.J., vice president for Mission and Ministry said Miller showed how genuine faith leads to a desire to understand the world God has created. Miller’s visit, marked the first in SU’s Catholic Heritage Lectures.
