Students Recognized for Upholding Mission

Nearly 40 students will receive recognition awards next week, for their various levels of involvement on and off campus. The honorees are chosen based on how their time at SU reflects the university’s mission: Seattle University is dedicated to educating the whole person, to professional formation, and to empowering leaders for a just and humane world.   

The 2011 Student Recognition Award Honorees include:  

The Archbishop Raymond G. Hunthausen Award  
SU’s most prestigious honor, this award recognizes two outstanding students who embody integrity, faith, leadership and a passion for learning. They’re also honored for their community service, justice and academic excellence to the university and global community.
