Seattle University Hosts Holocaust Remembrance

Seattle University will host Yom HaShoah: Remembering the Holocaust next Wednesday evening. Holocaust survivor Dr. Philip Wagenaar will share from his experiences.

Following the presentation, there will be a candlelit vigil, progressing to an interreligious prayer service in remembrance of the Holocaust and worldwide genocide.   

The annual Yom HaShoah remembers the specific toll of the Holocaust on the Jewish community and its implications for humanity, worldwide. SU values and commits to accurately educating about the Holocaust, as well as past, present and future genocide, and is committed to ecumenical and interreligious relationships.  

The event is free and open to the public.

            6:00-8:30 pm.
