Stacy Howard joined the Seattle University Marketing Communications team in October 2010. Prior to serving as the university’s media relations specialist she was the public relations director for The Salvation Army, Northwest Division. In that role she served as the organization’s spokesperson locally and in Haiti after the 2010 earthquake. She also handled all community and media relations from general news coverage to disaster relief.
Before entering public relations, Stacy worked at KOMO TV News as an assignment editor, writer and field producer. She also spent time as a newspaper reporter at the South County Journal and West Seattle Herald.
Originally from West Seattle, Stacy earned her degree in editorial journalism from University of Washington.
