Forget Spring Cleaning, Scrub it Out at Seattle University’s 5k Run/Walk

WHAT: In recognition of National Nurses Week, Seattle University is hosting a 5k fun run & walk this weekend. The event is open to the public and participants are encouraged to wear medical scrubs.  

All proceeds will benefit the Seattle University Student Nurses Association (SUSNA). The SUSNA portrays an integral role towards the creation of nursing leaders in the community. Its purpose is to not only uphold the nursing values of the National Student Nurses’ Association and the Jesuit teachings of SU, but to bridge the gap between the different disciplines and professions of the community.   

Raffle drawings, activities and other entertainment will follow the run/walk. Participants will receive a t-shirt and event bag.   

WHEN: Sunday, April 28, 2013

             Registration: 7 a.m. 
             5k Fun Run: 8 a.m.
 
             Walk: 9:30 a.m.
   

WHERE: Seattle University 
              901 12th Ave 
              Seattle, WA 98122  

              Start line: 12th/Marion (campus main entrance) 
              Course: 5k loop through campus
