Seattle University Welcomes Musician and Former Student Duff McKagan

WHAT: Former Seattle University student and founding member of rock supergroups Guns N’ Roses and Velvet Revolver Duff McKagan, will be on campus next week to discuss his new memoir, “It’s So Easy: and other Lies.”

The public is invited to participate in a Q & A session with McKagan, followed by a book signing. In a voice that is as honest as it is his own, McKagan takes readers on a trip through the dark heart of one of the most notorious bands in rock-and-roll history and out the other side. The book details his rise to fame and fortune, struggles with alcoholism and drug addiction, transformation, his time at SU, business successes and his journey to becoming a loving husband and father.
