Social Justice Immersion Focus on Homelessness

Every night in Seattle, over 2,500 people are sleeping without shelter. Thousands more people stay in shelters, transitional housing, sleep in their cars, or double up with friends or family. This immersion will introduce you to our incredible community partners who are working day in and day out to ensure that every resident of Seattle has a home. Your stereotypes will be challenged as you meet people who are currently or formerly homeless and learn about their lives. During the immersion, we'll do some direct service, visit with community partners, and learn about the many ways to get involved in this issue.

    Limited to 10 students
