A Big Congratulations goes out to Associate Professor Anita Mikasa, who was awarded the Patrick H. Brady Spirit of Service Award, presented by Seattle University President, Fr. Sundborg. [Pictured L to R: Captain Christie Torres, Anita Mikasa, Sergeant First Class Mitchell Hanson]
This award is given annually to the faculty or staff member who exemplifies excellence in service to the Brady Battalion and campus community. Professor Mikasa represents this mission of service in a big way. As the Advisor for nursing students in the ROTC program, she maintains communication with the Battalion leaders to ensure our nursing students get the support they need to succeed.
