Premium Software Training for SU

Lynda.com, an extensive technology training website, is now available to all faculty, staff and students. Lynda.com offers on-demand video training for over 300 software applications and other topics, including:

  • Word, Excel, Outlook  
  • Acrobat, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator
  • SPSS
  • SQL, AutoCAD, HTML 
  • Project Management 

Training is unlimited and accessible 24/7: just go to www.seattleu.edu/lynda and log in with your SU network credentials.  We think that this new training initiative will make a big difference on campus, giving you the skills you need to be successful.

CryptoLocker on T Drive

April 11th 12:00pm

A CryptoLocker attack on 3/31/14 between 11:25am and 3:30pm impacted some University T Drive files. Impacted files are visible but encrypted, and cannot be opened. OIT has successfully restored thousands of impacted files. If your files are still encrypted from the CryptoLocker attack, please contact the SU Help Desk and submit a request to restore impacted files.
