Desktop applications are locally installed standard computer software programs supported by the OIT Help Desk. Examples of desktop applications are programs such as Microsoft Office, the Raiser's Edge, and the Datatel User Interface.
If you need to install/reinstall any of the supported applications, please contact the OIT Help Desk at (206) 296-5571 or firstname.lastname@example.org. You will be asked to provide some information.
Usually, the OIT Help Desk is able to assist with installing/reinstalling desktop applications remotely. When contacting the OIT Help Desk, please provide them with the following information:
- Computer name or IP address (please go to http://mypc for your computer name and/or IP address).
- What software you are having problems with or need installed.
- Best time to install the software if needed.
