SUOnline is a secure web based, self-service system that provides faculty to access academic records, course schedules, and class rosters. SUOnline also provides Seattle University employees with access to their pay advices. Supervisors of student employees can access SUOnline to approve student employee time entries. SUOnline integrates seamlessly with Datatel Colleague, so all information and resources are delivered and updated in real-time.
All faculty with a Seattle University network account have access to SUOnline using their Seattle University network account credentials. Some faculty, academic advisers, department chairs, or associate deans may require additional access in SUOnline to perform tasks. Faculty requiring additional access to SUOnline for academic related tasks should contact the Office of the Registrar. Supervisors of student employees who require access to approve time entries should contact the Payroll Office at (206) 296-5887.

Academic related tasks in SUOnline are supported by the Office of the Registrar. If you have a question about using the application or are unsure if difficulties you are experiencing are a technical problem using a feature on the Faculty menu in SUOnline, please contact Office of the Registrar or call (206) 296-5855 for assistance. If you have a question regarding student time entry approval or your payroll advice please contact the Payroll Office at (206) 296-5887. If the issue is determined to be technical in nature, you will be asked to open a support request with the OIT Help Desk. In the event of technical difficulties, the following information must be provided to the OIT Help Desk so they may better assist you:
- Web browser name and version.
- A detailed description of what led up to your problem.
- If an error message appears, fully copy/paste the error message into an email sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
