OIT Telecommunications provides conference phones and conference bridging services.  Conference lines and phones can be setup in most locations on campus and allow you to manually add up to eight parties to a conference call.  Our conference bridge service provides you with a toll free number and a unique meeting ID for the participants to call in and join your conference call.

Requesting a Conference Call

To request a conference call, contact the OIT Help Desk at x5571 or helpdesk@seattleu.edu and provide the following information about the event.

  • Date
  • Start time
  • End time
  • Location
  • If you expect to make any long distance calls, please provide a budget number for billing.

We prefer 48 hours notice to allow us time to plan for the event.  Requests made inside of that time frame should be submitted by phone, so they can get quickly entered into the system.

Requesting a Conference Bridge Account

To request a conference bridge account contact the OIT Help Desk at x5571 or helpdesk@seattleu.edu and provide the following information.

  • Name of the person using the account
  • Their email address
  • Their phone number
  • The budget number that calls will be billed to

Please allow us 48 hours to setup the account.  Once the account is created, you will receive an email with all of the information about your new account.
