Sullivan Scholars represent a wide variety of religious traditions. They are a microcosm of the greater Seattle University community, where nearly half of the undergraduates are Catholic and the rest represent other faiths. Our Jesuit identity teaches students to practice and share their own beliefs and creates an environment where all students feel comfortable to seek deeper meaning, gain understanding of their own spirituality, and challenge their perceptions of faith. We seek students who want to explore different religious perspectives and who appreciate the importance of interfaith dialogue in today's world.

Sullivan Scholars explore spirituality in a number of ways once they arrive on campus. Students may attend daily Mass in the Chapel of St. Ignatius or services for other faiths in the ecumenical Campion Hall Chapel or the Multi-Faith Prayer Room. Campus Ministry provides retreats throughout the year that allow personal reflection and contemplation. Core curriculum theology classes offer an academic approach to the study of spirituality and diverse faith traditions.
