Airport Shuttle Service
  • Shuttle Service

    Seattle University Department of Public Safety and Transportation offers a FREE shuttle service to SeaTac Airport during various times throughout the academic year. Hours of operation are generally between the hours of 5am to 8pm, and run during the last few days of finals week each quarter, in addition to Thanksgiving Break. Students can expect to receive email correspondence regarding specific service and sign-up times two to three weeks before finals.

    Service Sign-Up Times

    Shuttle sign-ups take place in the Public Safety office located in the University Services Building (across from the bookstore) about two weeks before Finals. Students will need to bring their student ID cards, know their student ID number, and their flight departure time. There is generally a 1 luggage maximum per student, not including small bags that can travel in your lap.

    Return Shuttles Service

    We also offer a return shuttle service from Sound Transit's Link Light Rail International District Station back to campus. This service is generally offered the Saturday, Sunday and returning Monday after break. Students just need to call our office (Night Hawk line) upon boarding the Link Light Rail from the Airport, and a driver will meet them at the International District Station on 5th & S. Jackson St for pick up. Specify your return time here.

     

    Alternative Methods Of Travel

    In the event that none of our scheduled shuttle times work for you, there are several other easy ways to travel to the SeaTac Airport. Including the following:

    Bus Travel

    There are a number of buses that travel to SeaTac at various times throughout the day. For travel routes and times that best suite your needs, use the King County Metro Trip Planner.

    Sound Transit's Link Light Rail

    Sound Transit's Link Light Rail goes from downtown Seattle to Tacoma, WA with many stops along the way including SeaTac Airport. The closes Light Rail station is located about a half mile away from campus on 3rd Ave & James St. Trips from Seattle to the Airport generally take under an hour.

    Taxi Travel

    Taxi Services in the area travel from campus and the surrounding area to SeaTac and back. Trip fare generally runs approximately $32 one way.
