Updating HTML Content
  • HTML Content is unstructured text and images usually organized as paragraphs and lists. A significant majority of pages on the Seattle University website are composed of just one HTML Content block added to a Layout.

Unlike Smartforms, HTML content is formed using the Ektron Editor. As the user types into the editor, the system will automatically code HTML behind the scenes. In most cases, it is not necessary to edit the code of the content by hand. However, there are some times when the CMS will create unwanted code that leads to excessive spacing or inappropriate font sizes. It is also necessary to edit the code by hand when editing forms and tables.
